FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO THE INFRARED TREATMENTS WORKS ?
WEIGHT LOSS & INCREASED METABOLISM
The heat produced by the Infrared body wrap or the Infrared Sauna treatment is similar to that of a cardio or a physical workout while laying down for a period of 40-50 minutes. The infrared heat stimulates your metabolism, increases blood circulation and your heart rate just like an intense aerobic session. The increased circulation will also raise your Basic Metabolic Rate which burns calories.
Your metabolism will also be stimulated for 24 to 36 hours after using this treatment. This means that your body will be burning calories at a higher rate for the next couple of days after using one treatment.
While the weight of water loss can be regained by re-hydration, the calories consumed will not be and inches loss from Infrared treatment is permanent.
CELLULITE REDUCTION
When we accumulate body fat, there is of a lack of blood circulation. Then we can't metabolize and burn body fat. When little heat is being circulated in parts of the body, they are called "cold spots". Once the heat is taken away and cools, the fat then turns from subcutaneous fat into cellulite. Subcutaneous fat is very soft and easy to lose vs. cellulite which is almost like a harden muscle from lack of blood circulation.
The purpose of the Infrared treatments is to apply heat to the body in order to get underneath the fat tissue and thin the blood, allowing it to get into the areas where fat tissue exist. Bringing the blood back into the areas that have had restricted blood flow causes the metabolism rates to rise. The heat softens the fat tissue causing it to break up and to be released into the blood stream in the form of calories which burned up as energy.
DETOX
Detoxifying our bodies is essential in order to eliminate elements that are not good for us such as toxic chemicals, pathogens, and heavy metals. Too many toxins can make the body feel fatigued, cause muscle aches and pain and lead to skin reactions like acne breakouts or rashes. This may cause overall sickness. Detoxifying and sweating these toxins out is important so that our systems can function optimally and we can maintain a healthy body.
IMPROVES SKIN
The profuse sweating achieved in your Infrared treatment carries off deeply embedded impurities and dead skin cells, leaving the skin glowing and immaculately clean. Increased circulation draws your skin’s own natural nutrients to the surface.
You’ll see improved tone, elasticity, texture and fresh color. Increased blood circulation has also been shown to relieve acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns, lesions and cuts. In addition, open wounds heal more quickly, reducing scarring.
